Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll in a timely manner.
Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations.
Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.

Accounting Duties: Perform general bookkeeping and organize financial forms, documents, and receipts.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries.
Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses of the organization.

Compliance and Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
Keep abreast of industry changes and updates in payroll and accounting standards.
Assist with internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.

Administrative Support:Provide support to the HR department in managing employee data and records.
Interact with employees regarding payroll and expense reimbursements.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
Assist in the development and implementation of organizational financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and payroll.
  • Skills:Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems.
Detailed-oriented and organized.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
